THREATS
Designed to help each client understand the threats they are exposed to with a customized physical security plan to best protect against that threat. Both domestic and international assessments that pertain to natural, accidental, and intentional man-made threats are provided.
ASSETS
Clearly define the tangible and intangible valuable property that you possess. This includes all fixed furniture and equipment (FFE), employee talent as well as intellectual property.
VULNERABILITIES
Observations are made concerning deficiencies in the physical security and level of contingency planning. Additionally, negative issues that impact the overall life safety at a location are addressed.

Planning and Logistics
Pre-event planning should ideally begin 12–18 months before the date of the event, even longer if the event is on a large scale. Often, events in the Washington, DC region involve multiple Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies. Additional key partners involve Fire, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Transportation, Public Works, Emergency Management, Health, and other public agencies, as well as the private sector businesses affected by the event, to include private security. Soteria's Alliance can work with event organizers to attend necessary meetings with local governmental bodies to determine logistical and regulatory requirements.
Communications and Communications Technology
For events, we disseminate radios on the same frequencies to all personnel involved in the security and protection of the event. For additional protection, we can use encrypted communications to ensure secure communications. For events where the guest list needs to be verified and confirmed upon arrival, we have access to an RFID system that can display which guest is arriving, and display their photo and name from hundreds of feet away.
Access Control: Screening and Physical Security
Soteria's Alliance develops plans and manages security for an event's outer, middle, and inner perimeters. Outer perimeter security is used to deter vehicular and, when needed, pedestrian traffic.
Explosives Ordinance Canines and Technicians
While most events do not require this level of security, homemade explosives are becoming widely used in criminal acts. Providing this level of event screening and protection sends a message of the highest levels of protection.
Transportation/Traffic
Transportation and traffic issues alone can make or break an event in terms of public and guest enjoyment. Vehicular access and egress must be coordinated with local traffic flow. Motorcade movements and staging must also be taken into consideration. Soteria's Alliance has personnel with expertise in designing and executing traffic patterns and motorcade routes.
Credentialing
Credentials identify specific individuals who are allowed access to a venue as an invited guest or authorized staff. From simple badge-making, to RFID software technology, we can address your credentialing needs.
